I can’t pay for my subscription. I’ve tried multiple cards and approved the transactions but it constantly says declined or could not validate your card.

Is there something wrong with the payment system? Or is it my account?

That’s weird, I’m from the UK and was successfully paying for quite a few months until recently. Why is the UK on that list?! If I donate, will I get access to Hyprperks?

Hyprperks really not available in UK?

Hello. I’ve been using Hyprland for a few months, on FreeBSD, and recently Arch. Loving it! I’d really like to support its development, and Hyprperks looks like a great way to do it. But is it really not available to subscribers in the UK? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Stripe-powered service exclude the UK! Is it a mistake perhaps?

Ah that sucks. Fortunately, my wife has a place in Malta and a Maltese bank account. I’ll use her card and resub when I’m back home from travelling for work..

Crypto payments would be nice; they have no borders. I think you just pay a flat tax rate on that and call it a day.

Another option is what most video game cheat forums have: resellers. Advertising is against forum rules, but my DMs are open ;)

it’s not about my tax, it’s about your tax. VAT/Sales Tax has to be charged for the place of residence of the buyer.

I’m in the United States and wanted to get started learning NixOS, which I’ve just installed on a touchscreen laptop , as my primary workstation, with gnome as a fallback WM, and hyprland hyprperks was the way I planned to get started the fastest, I figured having a month of the best version of default settings and config stuff.

I can’t code and rely heavily on an LLM to walk me through this, I’ve been learning emacs this year, NixOS and then Hyprland was how I anticipated learning how to setup projects and learn about version control while slowly getting competent with the basics of coding.

I’m a little bit more hesitant to jump into NixOS with someone elses more complicated hyprland setup , something like fufexan’s dotfiles seemed like they’d be harder to implement than the hyprperks setup stuff, and I get the message that my card doesn’t accept that kind of payment. Does anyone have a suggestion for this ?
