Workspace id to begin with 0 instead of 1

i am using miryoku layout miryoku/docs/reference at master · manna-harbour/miryoku · GitHub which has numbers in keypad format.

Currently workspace don’t start with 0 instead they start with 1.

i wanted to have 0 workspace as starting workspace when hyprland starts. And place pre-defined applications in workspace 1 onward. As this will provide logical grouping to the keypad layout that i have phycally.

if it can be a breaking change, can we get it as a config, disabled by default.

No. What’s even the point? You can interpret your workspaces however you want.

Yes, but relative commands like hyprctl dispatch workspace -1breaks.

ok, on second thought, i can just remap the following ways →

  • key 0 → workspace 1
  • key 1 → workspace 2
  • key 2 → workspace 3
  • so on
