No but question, what Bar’s do you guys use if any? i personally use HyprPanel as i like the ease of use and it looks pretty decent, ive been looking into quickshell but im not really a coder and qml seems a little scary…
Please tell me yours tho!!!
If you’re happy to learn a bit of css for styling, waybar might serve you well.
It’s definitely not as powerful as quickshell, but it’s much simpler to set up.

finally moving from my old agsv1 to quickshell too now, why do you find quickshell intimidating?
is there any quickshell starting examples? i am too lazy 
agsv1. I got a custom setup I’m working on and I am far too lazy to try and rewrite it, so it’s probably gonna stay that way for a while. But if I were to switch, I’d definitely check out quickshell.

The most coding ive done is some HTML with tailwind so going from that to qml is a little scary to me, i did see some example setups and it looks really sick tho so maybe one that ill actually try it!

waybar is the way to go for a beginner
it’s the most popular, a lot of guides and premade config
well in general qml is also just a structure language, there is of course logic you can add, but basic things are also just structure
besides that, don’t think too much about what you’ve done in the past, if you wanna improve, you’ll always have to shoot higher :D

I’ve been pretty happy with waybar but I’ve been debating porting to quickshell sometime. Some of the demos I’ve seen are crazy cool

I use Waybar. I love being able to style everything using CSS. I think most if not all desktop apps should use CSS instead of some random JSON key values for their styling so you don’t have to read through the whole documentation to make a background white.
