Describe your issue / feature…

Upon hyprshutdown my terminal font is all over the place, and is waiting for me to push enter.

This value gets pushed to input:

[2PPPPPP[[[

Realize my own issue. I don’t have hyprshutdown installed as it’s not available for FreeBSD yet.

So I’m using Wayland-logout for now until it gets ported.

Still getting text pushed to stdin

have you tried using hyprctl dispatch exit or just building hyprshutdown from source?

That’s already part of the native config. i Does hypershutdown then or what you suggested.

I’m thinking it has something to do with I’m on FreeBSD and this is specific to start-hyprland I think I didn’t have this problem when I just called hyprland directly prior.

Currently I’m using Wayland-logout and have the same character dump to terminal.
