Describe your issue / feature…
I am trying to get a multi-touch experience in Bitwig Studio, my audio production tool of choice. As a regular Ubuntu user, I was able to use my touchscreen to interact with many controls simultaneously. I have switched over to Omarchy with hyprland, and I am finding that any subsequent touch event takes over or disrupts the previous touch event. Doing a bit of reading, it seems like this is perhaps due to the touchdevice events are getting converted to touchpad events, but I’m not sure.
I’m really loving hyprland so far, and would really like to figure out how to get this one thing unblocked, or perhaps even contribute to a solution. While being able to use touchdevice gestures in addition to multitouch would be great, I can do without any gestures (even via touchpad) if it uncomplicates things.
Best,
Sam
