Monitor reporting 18 bit

Whenever my monitor turns on, it reports the signal being 3440x1440 100Hz 18bit

The first two are correct, but why is it saying 18bit and not 24?

where is the 18 cuz I cant see it

On the transparent popup window that appears on the monitor when turned on, where it reports what it’s getting. Can’t screenshot that, but I can take a picture if you don’t believe me :P
