Keyboard shortcuts in OBS only when window in focus

Hey,

I have set up a custom shortcut in OBS. When the OBS window is in focus (the mouse cursor is within OBS’ window limits, the keyboard shortcut works fine. When it is over a different window within the same workspace/ monitor the shortcut stops working. The same applies for when the cursor is on a different monitor.

Is there a way to have these shortcuts be recognized globally independently from which window is in focus/ where the cursor sits?

Correct, this is how wayland works atm.

outside of those, you could also use the OBS websocket and just bind scripts to send commands to it.
