I’m not sure if this is normal behavior or not but whenever I get notifications from programs like discord or slack, my mobile phone does not receive it if that app is opened in Hyprland. It doesn’t matter too much if I’m at my desk but if I leave and I leave my PC idling, I would still like to receive notifications on my phone. I was wondering if there are any window rules or something similar that I can set to allow this?
For me this would happen occasionally when the app was left focused. Make sure it’s not focused. Maybe try launching them in native wayland?
I’ve seen this behavior while it’s on another workspace so I don’t think it’s because its unfocused. It should also be launching in native wayland by default. I’ve noticed that if I leave discord unfocused and I close my computer, all the notifications start popping up on my phone. It’s as if it was stacking the notifications on Hyprland until I either focus discord or close it without focusing discord.
that’s likely a discord bug then? Dunno, tbh
