hyprland from the repos, no issues.
hyprland-git compiled - no window rules work, causing problems with pyprland and cannot say open firefox on worspace 4.
Has something changed? Have downgraded, so all working ATM.
windowrules are being rewritten
as above, the syntax changed. Check the wiki: Window Rules – Hyprland Wiki

You can probably do some neovim type wizardry or write a script. Really the inline rules are mostly the same, its just the position of the arguments got moved around
