At first I tried Hyprland and decided that the project didn’t quite fit my idea of a system that does as much functionally as possible using as little as possible, but now (~1.5 years later) lua configs are awesome. The desktop portal makes it the only wayland WM that really stands against desktops.
Not to mention the fact that the project does not seem to mind making breaking changes in the name of progress(thank goodness).
