# Thunar path selection promptly disappears

## issue: thunar path selection promptly disappears

This minor but quite annoying thing keeps happening in Thunar and some other popup dialogs: when I try to select some text (double-click, click-drag, shift+left arrows etc.) the selection immediately disappears after I release the keybind/mouse button. Any idea how to fix this? Firefox and LibreOffice don’t do this.

I’ve just noticed that the same issue occurs in Okular (Document Viewer) when selecting text in a PDF (I was using Zathura before and didn’t notice it yet).
