# ANR pops up for a specific application when unfocused

## Describe your issue / feature…

If I have the FOSS application [Goxel](https://github.com/guillaumechereau/goxel) running and I unfocus from it, then after a few seconds I get the ANR(Application Not Responding) popup despite the application still being responsive when I refocus it.

Would be nice to have this fixed or at least have a window rule to disable ANR popup.

it’s down to the app to respond. We can’t do much if it doesn’t respond.

Are you sure that the application is not responding when unfocused? It could also be a bug in Hyprland.

Either way, should I open a feature request to add a window rule to disable ANR?
